Taking place, Oct. 4 – 6, The Great Pacific Airshow is pleased to announce that a third jet team, U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds, will join the 2019 Airshow lineup. The Thunderbirds will be joined by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the Royal Air Force Red Arrows.
Performing for the Southern California crowds for the third time, the Thunderbirds demonstrate the training and precision of Air Force pilots while highlighting some of the maximum capabilities of the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Their mind-bending precision and choreographed sequences that electrify audiences with every pass, roll and mix of formation flying and solo routines.
The show marks the Southern California debut of the Red Arrows, who last flew in North America in 2008. Also soaring over the beach during the Pacific Airshow will be US Air Force F-35 Lightning II demo, F-18 Super Hornet, the A10 demo plus a host of other performers.
For the first time ever, two Jetpack men will entertain the crowd in an exciting display brought to the airshow by JetPack Aviation.
